WHAT TO EXPECT

The Blue Crater and Pucté Stream are aquatic gardens located at the water sources on the banks of the La Pasión River. The crystal-clear waters and lush vegetation have turned this place into a tourism gem in northern Guatemala. You can’t miss an excursion here if you’re passing through to explore the river, witness its vibrant vegetation, spot the birds inhabiting the area, and perhaps even encounter a couple of crocodiles. We will pick you up from your hotel in Flores, and after an hour-long journey, we will arrive in Las Cruces, where the boat will be waiting to take us to the Blue Crater.

Once we reach the Blue Crater, you will also get to experience Pucté Stream, where you can marvel at the circular formation of crystal-clear waters and the incredible underwater gardens. We will provide masks and snorkels for you to explore the underwater beauty, but no fins are allowed. We will also bring a picnic lunch for you to enjoy after swimming. We will visit Pucté Stream, which is just a 5-minute drive from the Blue Crater. After spending 3 hours in this enchanting place, we will return to Sayaxche and then back to Flores, where we will drop you off at your hotel.
