Adrenaline by Day. Comfort by Night.
Ten days built for travelers who want to feel Guatemala, not just see it. Ride ATVs through the villages around Antigua, hike Acatenango and camp above 3,000 meters facing the eruptions of Volcán de Fuego, then summit for sunrise. Cross Lake Atitlán by boat to its Maya villages, paraglide above the water, kayak and fly the country’s longest zipline. Wander Chichicastenango’s famous market, sleep inside Tikal National Park for sunrise from Temple IV, and swim in the crystal-clear water of Cráter Azul. Flights, transfers, hotels, trek gear and park entrances are arranged before you land.
O percurso
The Tikal Go team meets you at La Aurora International Airport for the two-hour transfer to Antigua. Check in, relax and get ready — the adventure starts tomorrow.
Ride ATVs from the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint over Antigua and Volcán de Agua to San Juan del Obispo for artisanal chocolate, a local fruit winery, San Pedro de las Huertas, Ciudad Vieja’s cathedral from 1534 and the weavers of San Antonio Aguas Calientes, with lunch at a local restaurant or craft brewery.
A 9:00 am pickup and a one-hour drive to the trailhead, then a seven-hour climb with plenty of stops to acclimatize. Reach base camp above 3,000 meters by sunset, with dinner prepared by the team and Volcán de Fuego erupting across the valley through the night.
Coffee at 4:00 am, then a 45-minute push to the summit for sunrise. Breakfast at camp, a five-hour descent, and back at your Antigua hotel by around 3:00 pm for a free afternoon.
A 6:00 am pickup with a traditional breakfast stop in Tecpán, then a boat from Panajachel to Santiago — where Maya spirituality and Catholicism meet — and San Juan, known for its weavers and sustainable traditions. Check in at your lakeside hotel.
A 20-minute tandem paragliding flight over the lake and volcanoes with an experienced instructor, free time to kayak from the dock, and in the afternoon Guatemala’s longest zipline — including its zipline on a bicycle.
A three-hour guided walk through Chichicastenango’s market, church and cemetery, where Maya and Ladino traditions meet. Then on to Guatemala City for the 50-minute flight to Flores and straight into Tikal National Park for the night.
An early start to Temple IV to watch sunrise over the canopy, breakfast with jungle views, then a private archaeological tour of the Great Plaza, the Temple of the Great Jaguar and Temple II. The rest of the day is free to walk the forest trails from your hotel inside the park.
A drive through the forest to the La Pasión river, then by boat to the crystal-clear water of Cráter Azul for a swim and lunch. In the afternoon, explore the cobblestone streets of Flores island before checking in.
Breakfast in Flores, then a transfer to Mundo Maya International Airport for your flight back to Guatemala City at a time that suits your connection.
