TIKAL + YAXHÁ – 4 days 3 nights

Get to know the Mayan cities of Tikal and Yaxhá, walk and experience the small Island of Flores where you can admire its beautiful sunsets over Lake Petén Itzá. Let’s get into nature navigating the Passion River to reach the water garden known as Blue Crater. All this is possible in this package in which you will be able to know and enjoy the essence of Petén.

ITINERARY

Day 1
We leave from the Cancun International Airport after 1 hour and 50 minutes of travel by plane, we will arrive at the Mundo Maya International Airport in Flores where one of our colleagues from Tikal Go will be waiting for you with a sign with the logo of our company.

After an hour and a half of walking we will arrive at Tikal, the city of voices where you will know the temple of the Great Jaguar, temple IV with its majestic view, temple 2 and the most hidden places of this incredible city. After lunch in the Tikal National Park we will return to your hotel in Flores where you will spend the night.

Day 2
After continental breakfast at the hotel we will be ready to start our new adventure. At 8 am our Guide will go to your hotel to transfer us to the Blue Crater and its wonderful water garden.

After an hour of transfer by land we will arrive at Sayaxché where our boat will be waiting for us. We will sail for approximately 2 hours on the La Pasión River before arriving at the wonderful and unknown Blue Crater. Once there we will have time to swim and also discover the Pucté stream.

Lunch will be rural and once finished we will return to Sayaxché and return to Flores at approximately 5 in the afternoon.
You will spend the night in Flores.

Day 3
After breakfast, you will have a half-morning free to explore Flores and be able to take photos of its incredible houses and doors.

At 12 o’clock your Tikal Go Guide will pick you up at your hotel (if you want we could also have the full day in Tikal adding the tour to Topoxté)

We will travel approximately two hours in our comfortable air-conditioned bus and arrive at the Yaxhá National Park.

Before the sunset tour, we will have lunch in a restaurant in the middle of the Petenera Forest and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.

Yaxhá is a contemporary city to Tikal, smaller but no less important, on your tour you can visit the Central Plaza, the Ball Court, Temple 216, the Twin Pyramids Complex and you can immerse yourself in the virgin forest that the surrounds. After sunset we will return to Flores where you will spend the night.

Day 4

Desayunarás en tu hotel en Flores y tendrás el día libre ya que tu vuelo de regreso a Cancun es a las 17:50.

Up to 48 hours before the day of the start date of the trip we will re-program everything at no cost. If it is later we have a penalty of USD 115 for rescheduling
