TIKAL + YAXHÁ – 3 days 2 nights

Visit the most important Mayan sites in Guatemala: Tikal and Yaxhá. Come learn about the culture, anthropology and archeology of this beautiful country. Discover the secrets and ways of living of one of the most enigmatic civilizations in the history of mankind. Get to know Flores Island and its typical Caribbean architecture, the colors of the houses and Lake Petén Itzá.

ITINERARY

Day 1
We leave from the Cancun International Airport and after 1 hour and 50 minutes of travel by plane we will arrive at the Mundo Maya International Airport in Flores where one of our colleagues from Tikal Go will be waiting for you with a sign with the logo of our company.
We will travel approximately two hours in our comfortable air-conditioned bus and arrive at the Yaxhá National Park.

We will start our tour at the archaeological site of Topoxté that we will visit after a short boat ride. We will return for lunch before starting our sunset tour in Yaxhá.

Yaxhá is a contemporary city to Tikal, smaller but no less important, on your tour you can visit the Central Plaza, the Ball Court, Temple 216, the Twin Pyramids Complex and you can immerse yourself in the virgin forest that the surrounds. After admiring the sunset, we will return to Flores where you will spend the night.

Day 2
After enjoying your breakfast at your hotel in Flores we will go to your hotel and after an hour and a half on the way we will arrive at Tikal, the city of voices where you will see the temple of the Great Jaguar, temple IV with its majestic view, Temple 2 and the most hidden places in this incredible city. After lunch in the Tikal National Park we will return to your hotel in Flores where you will spend the night.

Day 3
You will have breakfast at your hotel in Flores and have the day off since your flight back to Cancun is at 5:50 pm.

Up to 48 hours before the day of the start date of the trip we will re-program everything at no cost. If it is later we have a penalty of USD 115 for rescheduling.
