We’ll pick you up with our air-conditioned bus and leave for the Tapir reserve. On the tour you’ll see Tapir birds and howler monkeys that live in the area.
Once on the place you’ll see charred human remains, bodies that lost their lives more than a thousand years ago and you’ll understand better the role of human sacrifice in the culture of this civilization. You can find at least 14 skeletons in your route, in which your Tour Guide will explain the importance of the cave, which was very sacred for the Mayans and the reason for the ceramics left next to the bodies.

08:00 am: We pick you up at your hotel in San Ignacio
09:30 am: We arrive at Teakettle Village ATM entrance
10:15 am: We'll walk towards the cavern and we'll pass 3 streams
10:30 am: We'll have a snack and a safety and orientation meeting
11:00 am: We'll enter the Cavern, from there the tour lasts 3 hours
02:30 pm: We leave the Cavern and we'll have Lunch by Tikal Go
03:45 pm: We left the picnic area towards the buses
05:00 pm: We arrive at your hotel in San Ignacio
