After enjoying a delicious breakfast, get ready for an exciting day of exploration as we embark on an adventurous ATV Antigua Magic Village Tour. Our knowledgeable Tikal Go guide will pick you up and lead you on an exhilarating journey through the scenic villages surrounding Antigua. We’ll start our thrilling ride at Cerro de la Cruz, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Antigua’s colonial architecture and the majestic Volcán de Agua.

As we rev up our ATVs, we’ll make our way to San Juan del Obispo, where we’ll not only discover the secrets of artisanal chocolate-making but also have the chance to indulge in some delectable samples. Our next stop takes us to a local winery, where you can savor the unique flavors of Guatemalan wines made from an array of tropical fruits like níspero or jocote.

Continuing our ATV adventure, we’ll zoom through the charming streets of San Pedro de las Huertas, immersing ourselves in the vibrant Mayan culture. Brace yourself for an awe-inspiring visit to Ciudad Vieja, the former capital of Guatemala, where you can capture captivating photos of the oldest cathedral in Central America, built back in 1534.

As our ATV adventure in the surrounding villages of Antigua comes to a close, we’ll head back to the city, reminiscing about the adrenaline-pumping ride and the unique cultural encounters we experienced along the way. On the third day of our tour, get ready for an unforgettable adventure as we embark on a thrilling hike up the mighty Acatenango Volcano. We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 9:00 am, so make sure you’ve had a hearty breakfast to fuel your energy for the day. After a one-hour drive, we’ll arrive at the base of the volcano, where our exhilarating 7-hour trek will begin.

As we ascend, we’ll make several stops along the way to admire the breathtaking views, catch our breath, and acclimate to the altitude. Each pause will provide a perfect opportunity to soak in the majestic scenery and capture stunning photographs to remember this extraordinary journey.

As we approach the end of our ascent, we’ll reach the base camp just in time for a mesmerizing sunset. Here, nestled among the clouds, we’ll set up our private campsite and witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the neighboring Volcán de Fuego as it illuminates the night sky with its fiery eruptions. It’s a truly magical experience that will leave you in awe of the raw power of nature.

After taking in the extraordinary views and enjoying a delicious dinner prepared by our team, we’ll have some time to relax and revel in the peaceful ambiance of our mountain camp. The starlit sky above us and the distant glow of the active volcano will create a captivating atmosphere that’s hard to replicate anywhere else.

As we settle in for the night, cozy in our camping gear, we’ll fall asleep to the sounds of nature and the occasional rumblings of Volcán de Fuego, knowing that we’ve embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that few have the privilege to experience.

On the second day the Acatenango excursion and fourth day of our Guatemala Adventure Tour, we’ll kickstart the excitement bright and early with a steaming cup of Guatemalan coffee in the mountains. At 4:00 am, our thrilling hike to the summit of Acatenango Volcano will begin, where we’ll eagerly await the breathtaking sunrise. The hike will take approximately 45 minutes, and upon reaching the top, we’ll be rewarded with a magnificent display of colors as the sun emerges on the horizon.

After soaking in the awe-inspiring sunrise, we’ll make our way back to the base camp for a hearty breakfast, fueling our bodies for the adventurous journey ahead. At 9:00 am, we’ll embark on the descent, which will last approximately 5 hours. As we make our way down the volcano, we’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, lush forests, and distant peaks.

By 3:00 pm, we plan to arrive back at our hotel in the charming city of Antigua, where you’ll have the afternoon to unwind and relax. Reflect on the incredible experience of conquering Acatenango, relish in the memories of witnessing the sunrise from its summit, and allow yourself to fully absorb the beauty and tranquility of the surrounding nature.

As the sun sets on this eventful day, you’ll have the opportunity to rest and rejuvenate, preparing for the adventures that lie ahead in the remaining days of our Guatemala Adventure Tour.

Today is the day to explore the Western region of Guatemala, and that’s where we’ll be heading. We’ll pick you up at 6:00 am and drive towards Lake Atitlan. But before reaching the lake, we’ll take you to experience one of the traditional restaurants in Tecpan, a place well-known among Guatemalans who enjoy having breakfast or lunch at one of its typical eateries.

After indulging in a delicious meal and immersing ourselves in the local flavors, we’ll continue our journey to Lake Atitlan, arriving at around 9:00 am. Our first stop will be the municipal dock in Panajachel, where our captain will be waiting with a boat ready for us. This marks the beginning of our tour of the Mayan villages that surround Lake Atitlan, and today we’ll visit two of them: Santiago and San Juan.

As we explore the enchanting Lake Atitlan, you’ll have the opportunity to delve into the vibrant culture of the Maya people, witness their living traditions, and gain a deeper understanding of the rich history and religious syncretism that shape Guatemala’s complex cultural tapestry.

Our first stop will be Santiago, a town known for its fascinating blend of Mayan spirituality and Catholicism. We’ll visit the local church, where you’ll witness a unique combination of ancient rituals and Catholic symbols. As we stroll through the bustling streets, you’ll have the chance to interact with local artisans, learn about their traditional crafts, and perhaps even acquire a piece of their beautiful handmade artwork.

Next, we’ll continue our journey to San Juan, a village renowned for its commitment to preserving indigenous traditions and sustainable practices. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to meet local weavers and learn about the intricate techniques behind their beautiful textiles. After an enriching day of cultural immersion and exploration, we’ll return to our hotel to check-in and rest. Take some time to relax and reflect on the experiences of the day, surrounded by the natural beauty and serenity of Lake Atitlan.

On this day, we have a full day of activities planned at Lake Atitlan. After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel to begin the first thrilling experience of the day: Paragliding. We understand that for many, this might be your first time, but there’s no need to worry. Our highly qualified team specializes in paragliding flights, and you’ll be accompanied by one of our experienced instructors. The flight itself will last for about 20 minutes, during which you’ll enjoy a noiseless glide, admiring the incredible view of the volcanoes and the lake as if you were a bird, surveying the territory from above. Upon landing, we’ll accompany you to the dock, where you can take photos, enjoy the beautiful lake, and even take a kayak out for a spin. You’ll have some free time to relax and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. In the afternoon, we’ll pick you up again and take you to experience the longest zipline in Guatemala. Get ready for an exhilarating time as you zip through the treetops, feeling like a part of the jungle. Don’t miss the unique zipline on a bicycle, which is the longest of its kind in the country. It’s a day filled with exciting activities, yet with a relaxed and enjoyable pace.

On the seventh day of our Guatemala Adventure Tour, we’ll traverse the entire Guatemalan Republic in a fun and dynamic way. We’ll pick you up at 8 in the morning to visit the famous Chichicastenango Market, which is approximately an hour and 45 minutes away from your hotel in Panajachel. This market, held only on Thursdays and Sundays, is peculiar and fascinating. Here, you’ll find everything from food to handicrafts. But what makes it truly interesting is witnessing the coexistence and syncretism between the Maya and Ladino cultures, creating a unique and unrepeatable atmosphere. Your guide will take you to explore the most intriguing spots of the market, including the church and the cemetery, during a 3-hour walking tour.

Afterwards, we’ll head towards Guatemala City and arrive at La Aurora International Airport to catch a 50-minute domestic flight to Flores. Upon arrival in Flores, our vehicle will transport you directly to Tikal National Park, immersing you immediately in the pristine primary jungle. You’ll spend the night within the park, preparing yourself for what awaits you the next day: the Tikal Archaeological Site.

On the eighth day of our Guatemala Adventure Tour, get ready for an extraordinary experience at the Tikal Archaeological Site. We’ll wake up early in the morning and head to the Templo IV to witness the magical sunrise over the ancient Maya ruins. As the first rays of sunlight illuminate the towering pyramids, you’ll feel a deep connection to the rich history and mystique of this incredible civilization. Close your eyes, breathe in the scents, and immerse yourself in the sounds of the awakening jungle.

After enjoying the awe-inspiring sunrise, we’ll have breakfast atop the temple, taking in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding forest. Then, our expert guide will lead us on a private archaeological tour of Tikal. As we explore the Great Plaza, the Temple of the Grand Jaguar, Temple II, and the other fascinating structures that once constituted the heart of this ancient city, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the Maya civilization and its architectural marvels.

After the archaeological tour, we’ll return to our hotel within Tikal National Park. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you. Take a leisurely walk through the lush jungle, listen to the melodic calls of exotic birds, and feel the ancient energy that permeates the air.

On the ninth day of our Guatemala Adventure Tour, we’ll embark on an exciting excursion from Tikal to the Blue Crater (Cráter Azul). After breakfast, we’ll leave Tikal National Park and travel to the Blue Crater, located in the pristine wilderness of the region.

Our journey will take us through lush forests and picturesque landscapes as we make our way to this natural wonder. Once we arrive, we’ll board a boat and embark on a scenic ride across Lake La Pasión to reach the Blue Crater.

As we approach the Blue Crater, you’ll be captivated by its crystal-clear waters, surrounded by verdant vegetation. Take a refreshing swim in the pristine, azure waters and immerse yourself in the tranquility of this hidden gem. The tranquil atmosphere and stunning natural beauty will leave you feeling rejuvenated and in awe of Guatemala’s natural wonders.

After enjoying our time at the Blue Crater, we’ll return to our boat and cruise back to the charming island of Flores. Here, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore the island, stroll along its cobblestone streets, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. Discover the colonial-Caribbean style architecture, browse local shops for unique souvenirs, or simply relax by the shores of Lake Petén Itzá.

In the evening, we’ll check into our hotel in Flores, where you can unwind and reflect on the incredible adventures you’ve experienced throughout your Guatemala journey.

On the final day of our Guatemala Adventure Tour, we’ll start with breakfast at our hotel in Flores. Afterward, we’ll transfer you to the Mundo Maya International Airport for your flight back to Guatemala City you can choose what time is suitable for your itinerary.
